It’s estimated that around 20% of us suffer from Winter Blues, and many of us are feeling this more than ever this year. Along with low mood, many of us feel generally lethargic, less productive and have a greater need for sleep and it can be easier to lose the motivation for healthy habits during the darker winter months. In this session you’ll learn about the science behind seasonal mood changes. We’ll discuss who is at greater risk, and how to recognise a negative winter mindset. Most importantly though, we’ll reveal the simple lifestyle changes you can make today to reduce your risk of the winter blues, and to boost your happiness and productivity – no matter what time of year!
Lifestyle Factors to Support your Immunity with Ruth Tongue
With colder, darker days on the horizon and concerns around keeping our immune system strong greater than ever this year, in this session, our nutritionist Ruth Tongue will dispel the myths around ‘boosting immunity’ and share the lifestyle factors that will actually help to keep your immune system staying strong and healthy this winter.
Should we all be taking vitamin D supplements? Does exercise improve or hinder our immune system? And what really are the best foods to help us reduce our risk of picking up illnesses? All will be revealed.
Managing the Cost of Living Increase
With the increase in essential living costs this year, many of us are going to experience anxiety and feel the impact over the winter. In this session we’ll look at simple budgeting tools, tips to reduce daily outgoings and maximise income and you’ll be able to ask our financial expert any burning questions that you have around your finances.
